Bahama Sagebrush (Lantana demutata) Millspaugh 1906 |
Lantana demutata is endemic to the northern and central islands in the Bahamas. It is found on sandy soils in the whiteland coppice. This species is a shrub growing up to 2 m in height; the leaves are opposite, round, and aromatic. The flowers have four fused white petals with a yellow center, and are arranged in cymes. The fruit is a blue drupe.
